Colour by colour

The colours other clinics send away.

1064 nmBlack, dark blue, deep dermal ink. Safest wavelength on deeper and Asian skin tones.

532 nmRed, orange, yellow, brown. The warm colours single-wavelength lasers leave behind.

595 nmBlue and green. Rare on a clinic-grade machine.

660 nmGreen — the hardest colour there is.

Pain

Like an elastic band

Uncomfortable rather than unbearable, and shorter than getting the tattoo was. Cooling throughout, numbing cream if you want it.

Frosting

Twenty minutes of white

The treated area goes white immediately. It settles within the hour. It is expected, not a burn.

Healing

Two weeks of care

Keep it covered, dry and out of the sun. Do not pick. Written aftercare goes home with you.

The gap

Six to eight weeks

Your immune system does the clearing. Closing the gap does not speed it up — it raises the scarring risk.

FAQ

Before you book

Does it hurt?

It is uncomfortable rather than unbearable — most people describe it as an elastic band snapping against the skin. Each session is short, we use cooling throughout, and numbing cream is available. Most clients say it hurts less than getting the tattoo did.

Will it leave a scar?

Properly performed laser removal does not scar in the great majority of cases. Risk rises if the area is treated too aggressively, if sessions are spaced too closely, or if you pick at scabs during healing. We patch test first, assess your skin type, and give you written aftercare.

Can you remove green and blue ink?

Yes. Green and blue are the hardest colours and many clinics cannot treat them because they only run one or two wavelengths. Our system runs four — 532, 595, 660 and 1064 nm — and 660 nm is specifically for green.

Is it safe on darker or Asian skin tones?

Yes, with the right wavelength and settings. We use 1064 nm on deeper skin tones because melanin absorbs very little of it, which lowers the risk of pigment change. We assess your Fitzpatrick skin type and patch test before your first full session.
